What causes acne?

Acne starts when the pores in your skin are surrounded by oil and dead skin cells.
Each pore is connected to a lubricant gland, which produces an oil substance called s├ębum. Extra sebum can plug holes, due to which the P. acnes or propanibacterium acnes grow.
Your white blood cells Attack on P. acnes, which causes swelling of the skin and acne. Some acne cases are more serious than others, but common symptoms include whiteheads, blackheads and pimples.
Many factors contribute to the development of acne, including genetics, diet, stress, hormonal changes and infections.

Health Tips for Acne:

1. Wash your face appropriately

To help prevent acne, it is important to remove excess oil, dirt and sweat daily. Washing your face more than twice a day can prevent acne.
Do not wash your face with those harsh face wash which do cause dry skin. Use an alcohol-free cleanser to wash your face:

1. Wet your face with warm water.
2. Apply a light cleanser using your fingers in a spherical motion.
3. Rinse well.

2. Know your skin type

Anyone can get a  acne, it does not matter that their skin type. The skin with oil is the most acne-prone. This creates too much oil sebum on face due to your skin's sebaceous glands.
Another type of skin which can cause acne is combination skin. Combination skin means that you have both dry areas and oil fields. In oil fields you have forehead, nose and chin, which is also called your T-Zone.
Knowing your type of skin will help you choose the right skin care products. For example, if your skin is oily, then select non-comedogenic products that are prepared to not block the pores.

3. Moisturize the skin

Moisturizers help the skin stay hydrated. But many moisturizers contain oil, synthetic aroma, or other ingredients that can irritate the skin and cause acne.
To help stop the acne, use aroma-free, non-comedogenic moisturizer after washing your face or whenever you feel skin dryness

4. Be Hydrated

If you become dehydrated, then your body can signal your skin oil glands to produce more oil. Dehydration also gives your skin dull appearance and promotes swelling and redness.
To keep your body hydrated well, drink at least eight-oz glasses of water every day. Drink more after exercise, if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or you spend time in a warm, humid environment.

5. Limit makeup

It is tempting to use makeup to cover the acne. However, doing this can cause spraying of the spine and there can be an outbreak.
When you wear makeup, avoid lubricate, heavy foundation, and use products that are non-comedogenic, sheer and fragrance free.
Greasy or oily shampoo, body washes, shaving cream, and hair styling products can also cause ACNE. To help stop the outbreak, choose oil-free, non-comedogenic options.

6. Do not touch your face

Your hand come across grime and bacteria throughout the day. And every time you touch your face, some of them can be transferred to your skin.
By all means, if your nose gets itching, then scratch it. But wash your hands regularly, and try to touch your face as less as possible.

7. Limiting Sun Exposure

Holding some rays can dry out acne in the short-term, but it produces big problems for a long time. Often the sun's contact causes the skin to dehydrate, which produces more oil and block pores over time.
However, many sunscreens are oily. For both sun and acne protection, wear a non-comedogenic, oil-free sunscreen.

Home remedies for acne:

1. Baking soda

This is my favorite home remedy for acne. Surprisingly, I discovered the baking soda mask only two years ago, and oh boy, it's powerful on the skin to clean stuff. Baking soda helps not only break the breakout and reduces inflammation, it is also a defoliator and helps to remove dead skin cells. Because of this, it also works very well to reduce any old marks or acne scars. To use it, just take a few spoons of baking soda and mix it with hot water until it becomes a paste. Apply paste to your skin. You have to leave it only for 10 to 15 minutes. You can gradually increase the time of an hour or leave it overnight. After an experiment you can see a big difference in your skin.

2. Apple cider vinegar

This home remedy for acne is another good one, it has both antibacterial and anti-fungal properties. To begin, you want to dilute 2 spoon with half cup of water or 1/4 cup water because it can be quite strong when applied directly to your skin. Be sure to use apple cider vinegar which is raw, unfiltered and labeled as "with mother", which contains the most nutrients.

3. Coconut oil

Coconut oil is antibacterial, anti-fungal and also highly moisturizing. It helps to fight bacteria and reduce redness. Apply coconut oil to your skin and massage it. You can apply it  twice a day. With coconut oil, there is no need to use a moisturizer anytime, it works very well and does not block your pores. For optimum advantage, use organic coconut oil which is unrefined.

4. Tea Tree Oil

Tea tree oil is an essential oil and powerful home remedies for acne, because it is antibacterial. To apply it, mix a small amount of tea tree oil (5 to 10 drops) with 1/4 cup of water. Dip cotton ball into a mixture and apply it to your skin. 

5. Egg Whites

For this, I am not talking about eating them, when they use face masks, they do a great home remedy for acne. Egg white reduces oil and reduces your pores and also removes impurities. To use it, separate the egg white from the yolk, use the cotton ball or you can use your fingers to apply egg white on your skin. After a few minutes your skin will be tighten, you can leave it for 10 minutes to an hour. Later, your skin will have a wonderful glow.

6. Lemon juice

For this, you can either use lemon juice or fresh squeezed lemon. To help cleanse your skin, lemon contains natural antibacterial and astringent properties. Apply lemon juice on your skin and leave it for 15 minutes to one hour.

7. Garlic

Not only garlic is a great natural antibacterial, when it is to be ingested, it also works very well for the skin. To use it, take cloves of garlic and slice it. Apply the slices on your skin, especially in problem areas, make sure the garlic juice is applied and leave for 15 minutes to 30 minutes.

8. Ice Cubes

To help reduce swelling, rub an ice cube on the problem areas. Not only does the cold shut its holes, it forces out the bacteria too. You can also sprinkle your face with cold water to achieve similar effects.

9. Corn Starch

Corn starch is very soothing and decent. When you have lots of redness or irritation, it is a great home remedy for acne. You can apply Corn starch to your breakout or your entire face. Leave it for overnight and find a big difference in the morning.

10. Aloe

Aloe is very pleasing and reduces swelling and redness. To use it, apply gel on your skin with your fingers, you can apply it several times a day. If you have an aloe plant, it would be better because you get fresh aloe without any additional material.
